Feb 17, 2004 Update

It's been a long time since I've updated this page!  Since the last update, I've added video and chipset waterblocks, installed a better pump to accommodate for the extra blocks, ditched the self-contained reservoir setup and switched to Tygon tubing.  My reservoir is now a clear plexiglass setup that takes two 2.5" drive bays.

Here are some updated pictures (the old ones are still below):

Before you say anything, I'm working on the "kink" in the last photo.  I just need to install a 45-degree fitting, which I didn't have on hand at the time I put it all together.  I'll try and do some more updating later...

New Pictures! - I just changed from the Gigabyte board to an MSI K7D Master-L.

I purchased the window kits from CaseMods.com for a small fee.  I really wanted the AMD logo, but couldn't find a pre-etched window or even an appliqué, so I decided to mask off the logo using electrical tape, and sandblast it myself!  I think it turned out pretty slick.

Temperatures

I wouldn't take the temps of the GA-7DPXDW as a comparison w/other boards.  The temps seem higher than normal.  Instead, you can compare my temps with the ones I had with the stock AMD coolers.

Stock AMD Coolers
154F - Idle
174F - 100% load, both CPUs

New Setup
123F - Idle
134F - 100% load, both CPUs

Case

The case is a YY0221 made my YeongYang.  You can check out the specs here:

I got mine for $150 w/o a PSU.  The shipping to Hawaii was killer, though... $57!
