March 21st, 2006 - I changed Zachary's page around a bit. Now, there is a page for his first year of pictures, and a second page for current (both in the above menu). Enjoy!
February 8th, 2006 - After a couple of hours of fighting with CGI, PHP, HTML, etc.... I finally got "The Cabuzzi Forums" up and running. It is by no means done, so let me know if you have any ideas on how to make it better! I also put a link in the top menu.
January 29th, 2006 - I finally added some pictures of our current computer, which is a dual-cored Athlon 64 X2 3800+ @ 2.55ghz. Enjoy.
January 10th, 2006 - The last update for today... here's a page of Christmas pictures! Also, there are some new pictures on Zoë's page. Stop by and check them out!
January 10th, 2006 - Here's a picture from Thanksgiving!
January 10th, 2006 - It's a new year, and my first resolution is to update this website more often! As I promised a while back, here are some pictures of Zachary and Zoë from Halloween.
January 10th, 2006 - Here are a few random pictures for your enjoyment...
October 24th, 2005 - Things are getting cold here in the Springs as we're getting ready for Halloween! Look here after October 31st for some pictures of the kiddies in their Halloween costumes!
For now, here are some new pictures of our sweet baby girl!
Also, Zachary got to take a trip to Golden Colorado to see Thomas the Train on Sept 23rd! Here are some pictures!
August 3rd, 2005 - Zachary was lucky enough to have two of his grandparents here within the last month! Jenny's mom was nice enough to stay a little longer to help out with the new baby.
July 27rd, 2005 - I added some pictures to the "Chris & Jenny" page (from 2001) and also to the "Family Pictures" page (from 2004). Make sure to check them out!
July 23rd, 2005 - We've updated Zoë's page with some new pictures! Also, here are some pictures of Zachary eating breakfast. It's nice now that he can feed himself! Just in time for the new baby!
July 2nd, 2005 - The Cabuzzi family has a new member! Zoë Lee Cabuzzi was born on June 27th, at 10:46am. She weighed in at 7lbs, 14oz which is about 1.5lbs more than the doctors said she'd weigh! Her length was 20.5".
Both mommy and baby are doing great. The delivery went very smoothly and Jenny's recovering just fine.
Here are a few pictures for now, as I'm still building Zoë's own page.
March 23rd, 2005 - Yeah, yeah... it's been a long time since I've updated the page. I've got plenty of reason, though. As many of you know, I finished my degree in Computer Information Systems and applied for OTS. After finding out last April I was accepted, I had to wait for my class date in November! I graduated OTS and received my commission on February 18th.
The other BIG news is that Jenny's pregnant! We're having a little girl! We were planning to have the second one after Zachary turned two, so it worked out perfect. The only bad thing is that between OTS and the two schools I'm currently working on now, I've missed a large part of her pregnancy. Luckily, though, I'll be home in time for the due date, which is estimated as June 23rd. After this, I shouldn't have any trips for a long time.
Zachary continues to grow and surprise us every day! He's quite the talker now, and loves to put words together. He already knows where "mommy's baby" is and will give her belly a hug and a kiss to show his affection. He also loves his Golden Retriever, which he proudly dubbed "Bear". One of his favorite things to do is "feed Bear", so mommy makes sure to take him out when she feeds him. Finally, Zachary's new big thing is "The Wiggles". He's always asking us to put on Wiggles CDs, or DVDs... it's enough to drive you crazy at times. But hey, at least it's not Barney!!
Anyways, make sure to check out the pictures section, as it's been updated. From now on, all the new pictures will be on the "Family" page. Until our little girl is born, then there'll be a page for her, too.
June 21st, 2004 - I made a major update to the webpage! Check out the new menu up top to get around a little easier. Also, Zachary's page has been completely redone! There are new pictures, and it's easier to look at them because they're in a thumbnail format.
June 18th, 2003 - I thought I'd share some of my homework with you. Check out my java apps! here and here. If they don't work, you may need to download and install the Java Virtual Machine here.
March 1st, 2003 - Even with all the baby business going on, we didn't forget about the kitty!
February 15th, 2003 - Here is the proper way to rebuild a Crane Deming Series 5061 refueling pump (funny) - Pic1 Pic2
February 13th, 2003 - I put up a page for my 1975 Datsun 280Z. Not much now... only what I'm going to do to it this summer...
February 8th, 2003 - Zachary is doing great, and even has his own page! I've also added some more pictures of our new house!
January 30th, 2003 - Here's an awesome tribute video to the military serving in the "War Against Terrorism". It might be a Navy/USMC production (silly squids), but it really hits home for all who serve. (video removed)
January 23rd, 2003 - Happy Birthday, Zachary! Our little boy was born today at 8:48PM EST. He is 7 pounds, 10 ounces, and 22 1/2" long! Both Mom and Baby are doing great! To send us an e-mail, click here. Here are a few pictures to tide everyone over until he gets home! (Pictures moved to the "Zachary" page!)
January 12th, 2003 - It's been quite a while since I've updated. We're now living in Goldsboro, NC in our new house. Within the next few days, I hope to update the page quite extensively with pictures of the house. In case you're wondering, no, no baby yet. Hopefully soon, though! Check out some pics of the house before it was finished back in November! Also, for everyone that wanted pictures of the going away party, you can find them here.
October 11th, 2002 - Want to hear a dead-ass hard drive?? Click here! An old drive of mine died, and I picked up a few like it for cheap, in an attempt to swap out the platters. I've done it before, but never on a SCSI drive. I was able to get it running just once, to the point I could detect it in Windows, but it said "unreadable". Picture here.
August 19th, 2002 - In case you haven't heard it, you should really give Toby Keith's "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue" a listen to. It sums up how many feel about 9/11. Here's the acoustic version and here's my transcription of the lyrics and chord progression for guitar. (It's best to right-click and save these.)
August 9th, 2002 - Well, I'm out of my cast, and on a contraption called a cam walker... Looks like something out of a RoboCop movie. It's better than crutches, though!
July 12th, 2002 - What an exciting day! Not only did Jenny have her first ultrasound, but I also broke my leg (fibula) at the ankle playing ping-pong. Yeah, I said ping-pong. Laugh all you want...
